Terms of Use

1. Acceptable Use

Calculator Vault is intended for lawful personal use only. You agree not to use the App to store, distribute, or conceal any content that:

• Is illegal under applicable local, national, or international law
• Infringes upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement
• Is intended to facilitate harm to any individual

2. Your Data Responsibility

You are solely and completely responsible for all content stored inside your Calculator Vault. As Calculator Vault stores all data locally on your device with no server access, we cannot monitor, review, or access your vault contents under any circumstances.

Important: Deleting the App permanently deletes all vault contents unless you have enabled iCloud Backup (Pro feature). We are not liable for data loss resulting from App deletion, device failure, iOS updates, or any other cause.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Calculator Vault offers optional paid upgrades processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. By making a purchase, you agree to Apple's Terms of Service in addition to these terms.

• All purchases are final. Refunds must be requested through Apple.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• To cancel: iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Calculator Vault Pro → Cancel.
• Price may vary by region and is displayed before purchase confirmation.
• Monthly plan: $2.99/month. Yearly plan: $14.99/year. Lifetime: $39.99 one-time.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Calculator Vault and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Calculator Vault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Calculator Vault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. The Emergency PIN data-wipe feature is irreversible — you accept this risk by enabling it.

7. Not a Law Enforcement Tool

Calculator Vault is a personal privacy app, not a replacement for law enforcement protection. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.

8. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version with an updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted by law.
